MENTOR AND PROTEGEE - Going Back To the Root

Mr. Oluwadiran Martin Ademola (a Belgium based Artist-cum-Art educator) returned today Monday 17th March, 2014 to Baptist Boys High School (BBHS) after forty years of graduation from the school (1974 set) to engage the young boys in visual expression using Acrylic paint. For him, it was an inexplicable experience and a remarkable learning experience for the students. Mr. Oluwadiran (formerly known as Ogundiran) was introduced to the Art teacher, Prince Olusegun Adeniyi by his former student at the Baptist Girls College, Mrs. Koya (Nee Oyesile). A quote from Mr. Oluwadiran and a watch word for all teachers; “I will teach some teachers that will teach my children, and I will not teach riff raffs to teach my children”
